Amanda Holden says ‘that is in my will’ as she shares unusual instruction for family

Amanda Holden has revealed an unusual musical instruction that she’s left in her will for her family to honour when she dies.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 53, made the revelation on air to Jason King (also known as JK), who is standing in for Jamie Theakston on Heart Breakfast, on Wednesday, September 4th.

Amanda and JK explained that they sometimes feel “starstruck” and were excited to reveal that they had been visited by a certain celebrity singer who popped into the studio for a chat and a “cuddle”.

She said: “Well, I am one of the biggest fan… I mean all of us are a fan. There is no doubt. I don’t know anyone that does not like Abba, and Björn (Ulvaeus) was here. I mean, I could barely speak; he just casually walked in.”

Amanda explained that he “dropped in” and had a chat, a photo and a “cuddle” and they jokingly said to “put the band back together” and “go on the road”, describing the singer as a “charming, gorgeous man”.

JK went on to say: “The bit of the video that you may see later, please don’t put the cheesy line where I say, ‘Can we thank you for the music?’, because – and I genuinely meant that.”

Amanda replied: “Just put the bit in where I said I’ve got Dancing Queen in my will where I’m lowered into the ground because that’s the truth. That is in my will.”

In 2023, the beloved presenter showed off her love for the Swedish superstars as she posted snaps outside an arena where she was enjoying ABBA in concert.

ABBA released their ninth studio album, ABBA Voyage, in 2021 after releasing their previous record back in 1981, with the latest offering selling more than a million copies in its first week alone.

She wrote in a photo caption on Instagram: “Well. You don’t need me to say this is BLOODY BRILLIANT BUT IT IS BLOODY BRILLIANT @abbavoyage I wept with joy.”

In other Abba news, Mamma Mia! 3, the sequel to Mamma Mia! and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, could well be getting the go-ahead, according to reports.

The massively popular musical films incorporate the pop legends’ back catalogue and star Meryl Streep, Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård, Colin Firth, Amanda Seyfried, and Lily James.
