The administration of the National Youth Service Corps has lamented that the University of Calabar as soon as mobilised a bread vendor on its commencement record for the one-year necessary nationwide service.
It stated as a part of strikes to revive sanity, it has demobilised 54 illegally mobilised graduates of the college to forestall the award of Certificates of National Service to unqualified individuals.

He stated of the 54, 19 of them initially registered on-line for mobilisation, have been prevented from service, whereas 4 Certificates of National Service for different culprits, weren’t produced by the Scheme.

Following the invalidation of the certificates, the Pro-Chancellor of the University, DIG Udom Ekpoudom (retd.), counseled the scheme for exposing fake graduates who have been fraudulently mobilised, pledging to take motion towards workers concerned within the mobilisation of pretend graduates from the establishment.
