The Presidency on Thursday mentioned the efforts by a Chinese firm, Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Limited, to take over some jets on Nigeria’s Presidential Air Fleet are fraudulent.
An announcement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, on Thursday learn, “The Federal Government will not be below any contractual obligation with the corporate.
“The case in which Zhongshan is trying to use every unorthodox means to strip our offshore assets is between the company and the Ogun State Government.”
The assertion is titled ‘Chinese company’s fraudulent try to strip Nigeria’s belongings overseas.’
Onanuga was responding to earlier studies {that a} French Court had sanctioned the seizure of three Nigerian presidential jets, together with a newly bought Airbus, amid a authorized dispute between Zhongshan and the Ogun State Government.
