In line with the directive of the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, the Edo State Universal Basic Education Board has recruited 5,500 lecturers.
The Executive Chairman of Edo SUBEB, Ozavize Salami, on Friday in Benin, the state capital, stated the recruitment was to fill lecturers gaps and increase instructing and studying in faculties.
She famous that the lecturers who went by means of a rigorous recruitment course of would fill recognized gaps in major and junior secondary faculties throughout the state.

Salami added that the candidates with abilities and experience related to gaps within the faculty system have been chosen and they’re going to work throughout all of the native authorities areas of the state.

The fellows, she famous, have been signed as much as a minimal wage wage and have benefited from the latest wage improve within the state which took their wage from N40,000 to N70,000 in May 2024.
