The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has condemned the kidnapping of 20 medical college students and a home officer in Benue State.
The college students and home officer have been kidnapped by gunmen on Thursday night in Benue State.
It was reported that the scholars from the University of Maiduguri and the University of Jos have been touring to the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students’ annual conference in Enugu State after they have been attacked by gunmen in Otukpo, Benue State.
The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has dispatched further detectives to Benue State to help within the rescue of the kidnapped medical college students.
