I hand over my son’s killers to God – Father of scholar murdered by B’Haram

“The fourth victim is Saleh Haruna who is now receiving treatment at a hospital. He was shot in the leg.”

Mallam AbdulRahman, the daddy of late Ahmad, said that they (dad and mom) had entrusted the matter to God’s judgment, refusing to remark additional on the assault.

He criticised the federal government for failing to guard the lives and property of its residents, emphasising the pressing want for elevated safety measures to stop additional mindless killings.

“They have left every little thing within the fingers of God. The Almighty will certainly choose over this assault on our kids.

The Headmaster of Faudiya Islamic School, Mallam Kolo Mohammed, lamented the unprecedented nature of the incident of their 30 years of operation, calling for divine justice and expressing shock on the mindless violence.

“We have been working the college since 30 years. It’s unlucky {that a} scenario like that is taking place to us.

“We aren’t preventing anybody, we don’t have enemies. We are peace loving folks. Why ought to this occur to us. God Almighty will choose over this incident, insha Allah.

“We aren’t going to do something on this, the authorities; police and military, will know what to do on this matter. We have left every little thing within the fingers of the Creator.

The District Head of Barko and consultant of the Emir of Geidam, Zannah Nur, condemned the assault on Faudiya Islamic faculty, describing it as barbaric.

Nur urged the state authorities to take a decisive motion to cease the continuing lack of harmless lives.

“We have visited the houses of the deceased college students to supply our condolences on behalf of the Geidam Emirate and the folks of Geidam.

“As leaders, we will continue to engage with security forces and the state government to halt these senseless killings of our people,” he added.

Speaking on the incident, the spokesperson for the Yobe State Police Command, Dungus Abdulkarim, stated, “The suspected terrorists attacked the Islamic faculty on 10 bikes with AK-47 rifles and shot sporadically at 4:00am (on Thursday).

“The faculty belongs to the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, also called the Shiite.

“When we acquired a misery name, the police in Geidam rushed to the college and found that three college students have been killed with the injuring of each other.

“The injured student was taken to the Geidam Specialists Hospital for treatment.”

He confirmed that the scholars that have been killed have been Muhammadu Saleh, 22 years, Ahmed Abdulrahaman, 21, and Abdullahi Adamu, 21, whereas the hospitalised scholar is Sani Haruna, 25 years outdated.
