Ibom Air denies ticket racketeering, corruption allegations

Akwa-Ibom State-owned airline, Ibom Air, has described as unfounded and baseless allegations of ticket racketeering at its Port Harcourt station.

It stated that it operates underneath strict moral requirements, and its workers are prohibited from partaking in any type of racketeering or corruption, including that makes an attempt to undermine these requirements are investigated and sanctioned appropriately.

This was contained in an announcement by the corporate’s General Manager of Marketing, and Communication, Aniekan Essienette, on Monday in Uyo, the state capital.

Essienette defined that the airline’s check-ins shut 45 minutes earlier than departure for home flights, including that it additionally strictly adheres to IATA’s pointers in dealing with ‘Go-show’ passengers.
