Jamie Laing’s wife Sophie has revealed her husband’s disgusting duvet habit that she can’t stand.

During the latest episode of their NewlyWeds podcast, the 30-year-old reality star was asked by Jamie if there was anything she wanted him to change “in his whole life”. Sophie, who tied the knot with Jamie last year following a two-year romance, then decided to share one of her husband’s emrbassing habits. “You won’t let me put any sheets on our duvet. You won’t let me, so I have to sleep with the mouldy duvet that’s had all of our sweat on it for months and months because you hate the feeling of a sheet,” she complained.

“Okay, alright. Fair enough. Anything else?” Jamie bravely asked. “When you go to people’s houses, like our friend’s house, and you don’t… tend to the loo,” Sophie told him. “You’re saying I leave s**t in the loo?” he exclaimed, as Sophie replied: “You leave skid marks.”

“That’s a lie!” Jamie blurted, as his wife continued. “And what do you do on her bed?” she asked, as Jamie countered: “I do not s**t on the bed! What are you talking about, like some sort of feral animal?” However, Sophie explained to listeners that Jamie had left some details out. “My friend let us stay in her wonderful house in Spain, she comes in just to tell us where the towels are and stuff, and I look in the corner of my eye and see what Jamie’s doing on her bed. I was like, ‘please don’t look’, so I was trying to distract her,” she said.

“Because you were sat cross legged picking your toenail on her bed,” Sophie added, but Jamie was adamant his behaviour was normal. “I think a lot of people can relate to that,” he said with a smile, as his disgusted wife replied: “That’s so not okay!”

Fans were quick to comment on the video, as many agreed with Sophie’s stance on her duvet complaint. “The duvet thing is absolutely awful and so unhygienic. That’s actually stressful,” one wrote, as another added: “Why do you not wash your duvet? I don’t use a top sheet but I wash my duvet just as much as I’d wash my top sheet!”

While others were baffled at their relationship, with one commenting: “How did these two people ever meet and get on ???” as another chimed in: “I think Jamie is amazing. Just funny, charming and just lovely. Stop moaning Sophie. Why did you marry him.”

The episode also touched upon an embarrassing incident that happened when Jamie was younger, and fans were left gobsmacked over the drunken tale. “When I was at boarding school, I got quite drunk…” Jamie began. “I had this tea tree shampoo… anyway I was obviously feeling a bit frisky myself… So I thought I’d use the tea tree shampoo… whatever,” Jamie added, but Sophie insisted he explained himself. “What did you use it as?” she asked, as he went red-faced. “You know what I used it as… you’re going to have to say it for me,” the embarrassed star said, as Sophie stated: “As a lubricant.”

Laughing, Jamie continued his story, as he revealed he had fallen asleep, and woke up to a horrifying sight. “It’s quite acidic… anyway I woke up and it had burnt everything. It burns the skin,” he explained to a gobsmacked Sophie.
