Jeremy Clarkson has candidly admitted he is “packing” in his profession “talking about” automobiles, after confessing he is now “too old and fat” for it. In a revealing chat with The Sunday Times magazine, the ex-Top Gear host mentioned his 22-year on-screen journey with co-stars James May and Richard Hammond.

He elaborated: “I then did that, got fired, started The Grand Tour with Amazon and now, after 36 years of talking about cars on television, I’m packing it in, because I’m too old and fat to get into the cars that I like and not interested in driving those I don’t.”
Jeremy, alongside James and Richard, first graced our screens on Top Gear within the early 2000s and stayed till 2015, throughout which era they hosted a roster of A-listers together with Tom Cruise, Lionel Richie, and Rowan Atkinson, stories the Express.
