LG funds: Reps again FG swimsuit in opposition to govs

The House of Representatives has expressed its help for the authorized motion taken by the Federal Government in opposition to the 36 states of the federation to implement the autonomy of the native governments.

But the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotiti Gumor, on Tuesday,  criticised the Federal Government’s resort to a lawsuit.

Gumor questioned why the Federal Government would go to court docket when the problem of LG autonomy was already being thought-about within the ongoing constitutional modification.
