Oasis have announced two more 2025 tour dates – but how do we get tickets?
Warring brothers Liam, 51, and Noel Gallagher, 56, have finally put their differences aside after being locked in a war of words since 2009. The news of their reunion sent fans wild as they anxiously waited for tickets for the Oasis 2025 tour to be revealed. However, when tickets went on sale on August 31, millions were left devastated after being in a string of virtual queues for up to eight hours.
But while many lost out on getting their hands on tickets, millions were faced with further shock when it emerged that Ticketmaster had hiked the prices of standing tickets from £148 to an eyewatering £356 in what they call “dynamic pricing”. Dynamic pricing is used by the retailer when there is such a high demand for events.
Earlier this week, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer vowed to end the “extortionate” dynamic pricing of tickets after dozens were placed on resale sites for thousands. He said it’s “great that Oasis are back together” but described high-price ticket resales as “depressing”. Starmer added: “I’m committed to putting fans at the heart of music and ending extortionate price resales, and we’re starting a consultation to work out how best we can do this.” Over ten million fans from 158 countries had queued to get their hands on tickets.

Now, the two brothers have added two more dates at Wembley Stadium in September of next year. But what do we know about the dates and getting our hands on the tickets? The Manchester band will be playing the stadium on September 27th and September 28th next year, having already sold out four nights at Wembley.
But when do tickets go on sale? The band haven’t officially confirmed the date when the extra tickets will go on sale. But in a statement shared with the media, Oasis confirmed who will receive an entry into the ballot system to get their hands on a special code to purchase tickets.
Applications to join the ballot will be opened at first to the fans who found themselves unsuccessful in the initial Ticketmaster fiasco. They also commented on the backlash surrounding the use of dynamic pricing. It emerged that neither Liam nor Noel made any decisions on dynamic pricing.
These decisions were made by tour promoters SJM Concerts as well as the band’s management firm. The pair had no idea that dynamic pricing would be used during the release of the tickets. Although meetings between management and Ticketmaster resulted in a positive strategy which would have benefited fans to prevent ticket touts from profiting, they acknowledge that the plans failed to meet expectations.

While every date but the two new dates are sold out, Oasis have partnered with Ticketmaster’s official re-selling site and Twickets, where fans will be able to get their hands on resale tickets sold at face value or under face value. The two brothers warned on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Please be aware of counterfeit and void tickets appearing on the secondary market. Tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @TicketmasterUK and @Twickets.” Those being listed on sites such as Viagogo for extortionate prices face having the orders cancelled.
