The diamond was discovered within the Karowe Diamond Mine in northeastern Botswana, about 430 kilometres (270 miles) from the capital Gaborone, Lucara Diamond Corp. stated in an announcement.
Lucara didn’t give a price for the discover or point out its high quality.
