The Kaduna State Police Command has taken decisive motion towards rising crime, significantly cellphone snatching, with a collection of focused raids.
The operation performed by the Anti-Vice Section of the command resulted within the arrest of 35 suspects, together with two females, discovered with weapons, Indian hemp, and different illicit medicine.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mansir Hassan, disclosed this in a press release on Saturday.
He added that the raids carried out between 19:00 and 23:45 hours, centered on recognized black spots throughout the metropolitan space.
According to the police spokesman, all suspects have been charged to courtroom after preliminary investigations.
He quoted the state Commissioner of Police, Audu Dabigi, to have assured the general public that these discovered culpable can be prosecuted.
