S’East govs to fulfill Tinubu for Nnamdi Kanu’s launch

The South-East Governors Forum, on Tuesday, resolved to go to President Bola Tinubu and interface with the Federal Government to safe the discharge of the detained chief of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

The governors made the decision at their assembly in Enugu on Tuesday.

The assembly, which lasted about six hours, had in attendance all of the 5 South-East governors: Peter Mbah (Enugu); Alex Otti (Abia); Prof Charles Soludo (Anambra); Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi) and Senator Hope Uzodimma (Imo).

In a five-point communique, collectively signed by all of the governors, the discussion board resolved to activate actionable plans with a view to implementing the report of the South-East Security and Economic Summit held in Owerri in September final 12 months.
