Presenter Stacey Solomon is reportedly saying goodbye to one of her TV roles, with the news coming just weeks after she told fans that she’s reevaluated her life recently.
It’s been reported that Stacey, 34, won’t return for a second series of her Channel 4 show Renovation Rescue. The show, which debuted in April, saw her help homeowners “salvage their half-built homes without breaking the bank”.
Stacey will instead “focus” on her projects with the BBC following their show Sort Your Life Out winning a National Television Award (NTA) last month, it’s been claimed. A source told the Sun: “Stacey had a great time making Renovation Rescue but the fact she isn’t doing a second series allows her to focus on her projects with [the BBC]. They’ve been a huge success and the NTA win is evidence that the viewing public love what she does.”
It comes amid concern in recent weeks that Stacey has left Loose Women. The speculation that she’s no longer a panelist was fuelled recently by her absence from a special photoshoot celebrating the ITV show’s 25th anniversary. Stacey however has since shared her support for the show and her colleagues in a video message, in which she described herself as a “proud Loose Woman”.
She said in the recent message: “Happy birthday to you, Loose Women. I can’t believe you’re 25 years old and I can’t believe I get to call myself a Loose Woman, I’m such a proud Loose Woman! 25 incredible years and so many more to come. Love you loads and loads.”

The speculation about her future on TV comes after Stacey announced last month that she’s stepping back from her role with fashion brand InTheStyle in a bid to spend more time with her family. The presenter, who has released several collections with the brand over the years, also alluded in her post to parting ways with other projects at the moment.
She said in a post on Instagram at the time: “Throughout this year I’ve thought a lot about work/family balance & things that have needed to be prioritised. So I’ve decided to say goodbye to InTheStyle and other things so that I can give more of myself back to my family.”

Stacey later further hinted at the end of other projects too, telling fans: “A few things have happened over this year & for us as a family it just feels right me to let go and focus a bit more of myself on our family. It won’t just be InTheStyle. I have been re thinking lots of things.” She added: “I feel so lucky & grateful to have been able to live out what I can only describe as my wildest dreams, and that’s just such a huge privilege. One I’ll never take for granted & certainly never forget. But it’s time for a change and a new focus.”
