TikTok star Mr Prada arrested in Dallas following murder of therapist in Louisiana

TikTok star Mr Prada has been arrested in in Dallas, Texas, following the murder of a Louisiana therapist.

The social media star, whose real name is Terryon Ishmael Thomas, was taken into custody on Tuesday following a manhunt. The 20-year-old has been linked to 69-year-old William Nicholas Abraham, whose body was found dumped on a road in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Sunday.

Thomas has not been charged in connection with the therapist’s death, but had been named a person of interest. The TikTok personality had been spotted driving Abraham’s vehicle and fled from authorities after he stopped at a traffic stop.

WVUE reported on Wednesday: “Thomas will now have to go before a judge in Texas for an extradition hearing. During that hearing, the judge will determine if the suspect should be returned to Louisiana to face charges in the warrant from the Baton Rouge Police Department. Abraham’s body was found wrapped in a tarp and dumped in a ditch on Sunday along Highway 51 between Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa.”

The vehicle had been reported as stolen and police had tracked the vehicle to Baton Rouge on Monday where they tried to stop it.

Fox 8 Live reports: “The driver reportedly backed into an officer’s marked unit and fled. The officer identified Thomas from a lineup as the driver. Thomas is wanted on charges of aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.”

Grim details of Abraham’s death revealed he had died from blunt force trauma to the head, neck, and shoulders. Sheriff Gerald Sticker in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisana, described the murder as a: “very physical, very violent death.” Authorities have yet to determine where Abraham was killed after his body was discovered at the side of a road.

Abraham’s attorney, Jarrett Ambeau, said in a statement: “I’m absolutely devastated and completely surprised that something like that could have happened to a man who I believed to be so tender, so gentle, and have such a servant’s heart.” Police have appealed to the public for information.
