Tinubu condemns Borno suicide assaults, guarantees to cope with troublemakers

President Bola Tinubu has condemned the bomb assaults, which resulted within the lack of lives and the maiming of different residents within the Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.

PUNCH Online reported that a deadly bomb attack killed not less than 18 individuals and maimed many others on Saturday at a marriage ceremony in Tashan Mararaba, Gwoza city, Borno State.

A safety analyst and counter-insurgency professional, Zagazola Makama, instructed PUNCH Online that the bomber, later recognized as a younger woman in her early twenties, detonated her explosive system in the midst of the gathering, inflicting chaos and destruction.

Intelligence sources instructed Makama that the victims, who have been all civilians, have been coming back from a marriage celebration when the assault occurred close to a busy motorpark.
